The insanity (or stupidity) of the band bore no greater expression than in Adolph Kong. Is there any more to say? Gorilla head, army greatcoat, watering can trumpet and the Adolph Kong Rag - hmmmmmmm.

A blog devoted to telling the story of Donga Dan's Derelict Band. Formed in Caringbah, New South Wales in 1974, this jug band became a small sensation in Sydney folk circles. In the late 1980s it re-formed as a bush band in the Blue Mountains.
